Someone to shed a tear : Everyone really needs a shoulder to cry on?

Interview by Sport Chosun
Translated by Wid Kosoo (Only the text related to Ko Soo)

The new SBS Wednesday- Thursday drama '49 Days' is about three people’s tears of love, starring by Bae Soo Bin. (When A Man Is In Love, Shinning in Heritance, Dong Yi)
When we interviewed Bae Soo Bin, suddenly we asked this question, “Who is someone to shed your tears in the real life?”
He hesitated a moment, but then he mentioned some names of his friends.
One of them is Ko Soo.

KO SOO

I know Ko Soo for 7 years now, and we are best friends through the good or bad. He has the goodness inside and it reflects in his eyes wonderfully.  Even if  his eyes were a little dreamy, well we could forgive all that (Laughter).  He’s a real wholesome person. That's okay for me to tell him everything. He’s basically a good looking guy in anything, but day by day his personal charm is overwhelming.

Mix Face result : KO SOO

Translated in English by : Wid Ko Soo

Won Bin - Nichkhun - Kang Dong Won, the mix of their faces looks like 'truly gentleman KO SOO'

The average’ faces of Won Bin, Nichkhun, and Kang Dong Won become a hot topic.

Recently, the bulletin board of internet portal site was showing some pictures of Won Bin, Nichkhun, and Kang Dong Won. Their faces were strangely superimposed over each other, to measure how their ‘average’ faces (which are handsome) would be the superior one.

Netizens saw the photo and showed a variety of reactions : “He looks like Ko Soo”, “whatta a good looking guy”, “Seems like a mix of their best part of face.”

Wid Ko Soo said :

(hehe lucu ya, tiga orang ganteng digabung kok bisa keliatan mirip ko soo...
means Ko Soo gantengnya tiga kuadrat, gitu? atau tiap2 kelebihan dari tampang tiga aktor itu ada di wajah ko soo? hihiihi)

(Yang pasti mah Ko Soo is the hottest star ever, HJW apa enggak ngiler tuh, he...he...he)

Photographer Cho Sehyon’s Star: Ko Soo – Pure as a country boy. A reticent actor…

December 2005
Translated in English by : ELSIE

My first impression of Ko Soo when he came over to my studio was what a reserved actor he is! He is straightforward and honest in his speech. Though quiet and reserved, his presence is felt.

However, he shows great enthusiasm in front of the camera. This is perhaps the true character of a natural actor. It is often said that actors are drawn to the camera. But for Ko Soo, it is the camera which is drawn to the eyes of Ko Soo. Not only that, it is fascinating to watch him switch from his usual reticent self to someone with a comical pose and funny expression in a split second. He turned around in the studio like a volleyball. At that time, the expression in those big eyes under the thick eyebrows are very cute. If only fans could see this pose! They will like him even more. He is a genius who could transform himself so passionately in front of the camera.

With an innocent expression much like a country boy or a pure youthful expression, Ko Soo is different from other pretty boy actors. He is handsome no doubt, but he does not strike the pose of a pretty boy. Instead he stands proud in front the camera. His face has depth.

It is difficult to get close to a reticent young man. But compared to people who fool around in the studio, you will feel a strange attraction to the quiet actor.

Actor Ko Soo’s philosophy is that it’s better to be a good actor rather than a popular one. And his belief that, by becoming friendly with other actors before filming will render him unable to focus on his acting because of personal feelings, is rather interesting. Therefore, he often gets closer to his colleagues after the end of a shoot rather than before. His depth in acting matches perfectly with his external image. There may be actors with good acting skills, but none has the philosophy, self management and unique characteristic of Ko Soo. Such is the charisma of actor Ko Soo.

No matter how quiet or reserved Ko Soo is, I could see the message clearly in his eyes. All his effort and hard work as well as his natural ability are all captured in my camera.

Pure youth Ko Soo falls in “dangerous love”

Translated by : ELSIE
Via : news.nate

Actor Ko Soo is an epitome of a "gentle, handsome man". From his eyes that are always moist to his lips, Ko Soo always looks quiet and sincere. One can never find any dark shadows in him. This is the real Ko Soo.

He is still the same earnest young man who made his debut 10 years ago. He still listens intently and seriously to the questions that are posed to him. 5 years after SOME, WHITE NIGHT is his first movie after military service.

WHITE NIGHT is based on a Japanese bestseller about a fateful relationship between a man and a woman in connection with a murder which occurred 14 years ago and an ex-detective who tracks them down. The movie stars Ko Soo as Yohan, Han Suk Kyu as the ex-detective and Son Ye Jin as Miho.

“I had to read the script twice to understand Yohan’s character. Yohan lives a lonesome life since he was a child. In crafting the role of Yohan, I almost lived without sunlight. This is necessary to understand and to convey accurately what’s in Yohan’s mind”.

Posted Image

When he came to the movie set, he became Yohan. “He didn’t only act, he transformed himself into Yohan completely”, said Director Park . As most of his scenes are solitary, it is necessary to create a quiet atmosphere on the set. For this reason, he didn’t even talk much to co-star Son Ye Jin.

“Yohan and Miho are no ordinary lovers who see and talk to each other. They communicate by phone or talk to each other with a wall in between. So Ye Jin and I do not meet on the set to preserve that feeling. It was difficult in the beginning. But bringing a little imagination to actuality, love can still be felt even if we deliberately not meet one another”, said Ko Soo.

“Acting is a profession. I want to grow as an actor now”. Ko Soo made his debut in 1998 with a music video LETTER. He went to an audition with a friend for the fun of it. After that, he did a commercial and took up several modeling assignments. He has done 10 TV dramas and has since grown as an actor. Upon his discharge from mandatory military service, he took on a stage play RETURN OF PRESIDENT OEM. “In the past, I always wanted to do a stage play. If I don’t do it after the army, when would it be possible to take up the challenge? I like the atmosphere of the stage and I enjoy the drinking parties. I was able to meet people from various walks of life and there are lots of things to learn”.

Ko Soo shook his head when asked if he is scheduled to appear in a variety show to promote the movie. He has no such plans. It will be alright if he appears as a character he portrays, but not as Ko Soo the man because he will feel the pressure.

In the beginning, Ko Soo was rather skeptical about a performing career with his kind of character. But he is clear now about this profession. “I think an actor does self-development all the time and you can grow in this profession. I need to work harder now and as I have had a long break. I will be seeing everyone soon in WILL IT SNOW FOR CHRISTMAS!

Will It Snow For Christmas ?– Ko Soo is 100% Cha Kang Jin

Translated by : ELSIE
Via : news.nate

Ko Soo’s portrayal of Cha Kang Jin has become a hot topic. There is a similarity between the two men in the following ways:

Business Suit

Cha Kang Jin wears mainly tight-fitting business suits in the drama. Like So Ji Sub, Cha Seung Won and Jo Jin Mo who are the cool and popular heroes of 2009, Ko Soo looks really good and handsome in business suits.

Also, female audiences are thrilled when Ko Soo reveals a muscular body in the 2nd episode.

Filial piety

In episode 3, Kang Jin gently sings for his mom “Hondo, don’t cry” when she is sad. He calls her “Madam Cha” instead of “mom” to make her feel good. Ko Soo himself is well-known as a filial son by people who know him well.

Deep intense eyes

Kang Jin’s deep intense eyes have captured the heart of Ji Wan (Han Ye Seul) and Woo Jung (Sun Woo Sun). Likewise, Ko Soo’s deep intense gaze has caused audiences to suffer from “Ko Soo Syndrome”. Writer Lee Kyung Hee has revealed that it was Ko Soo’s eyes she was thinking of when she wrote Kang Jin’s character. Even Kim Soo Hyun, the young actor who plays the teenaged Kang Jin, says that he wants to have eyes like Ko Soo senior.

A gentleman

When a building collapses in the 2nd episode, Kang Jin displays his sense of righteousness when he confronts the security guards and Woo Jung. Not only that, he stays up all night to patch up the room for his first love, Ji Wan. In real life, Ko Soo also takes good care of the cast and crew who work with him on the set. He has been called “always-there-young-man” and the “considerate Ko Soo” etc.

According to the PD, the production team is really amazed at the similarity between writer Lee Kyung Hee’s Cha Kang Jin and Ko Soo. Ko Soo is very gentle with the ladies, but Kang Jin can be rather impolite. Except for this, Ko Soo is 100% Cha Kang Jin.

Ko Soo : Our Agent Alpha 55

How is our agent Alpha 55 doing nowadays? He has been busy, of course as usual. Beside his "Gojijeo", he recently has interviewed with KBS, and looks as dashing as ever.

His latest poses with Sony, just make me want to say ; please make a real series of agent Alpha 55!
Ko Soo will extremely fit for this role, and I wonder how to see the 'womanizer' Ko Soo , it must be fun to see him in different role like this.

I really love the  picture above, the setting and lightening give an 'art' touch to the whole image, and
Ko Soo pose just adding more beauty to the picture.

No matter how busy our agent is, he still has time to have a date with his 'dreamy girl friend', Gil Ra Im (read: Ha Ji Won) from 'Secret Garden". They even wear this matching jacket to pose (ha...ha..ha, thanks to Baidu to discover this interesting fact)

The feeling between our agent Alpha 55 (read : Ko Soo) and Gil Ra Im (read: Ha Ji Won) are mutual, cause when Ra Im miss her agent Alpha 55, she will look at his  'Hana Bank' billboard advertisement with her solemn look. Our stunt girl needs some encouragement before she jumps from the high building, and she needs Ko Soo (ha..ha...well fans sometime are really imaginative)

[Stars & Writing] Ko Soo’s charming handwritten note

This is the most hilarious interview I have done and I burst out laughing on seeing such a cute handwritten note by Ko Soo.
During an interview with Ko Soo, I handed a piece of paper to him and told him to write something on it. I told him that whatever is written, is OK. The interview progressed and still the paper was blank after some time. I asked him why hasn’t he written anything? He replied that he didn’t know what to write. I then explained to him the purpose of the “Stars & Writing” section. “Whatever you want to write is fine. Some people simply draw a picture and sign their name”, I said. Ko Soo pointed to my laptop in surprise, “A picture and a signature? I can write anything, right? I am thinking of writing XXX…” “XXX” was the brand name which was stamped on the laptop. After a moment of embarrassment, I said, “No, not the XXX…” He gave an innocent smile, “Oh! Alright, I will write something else”. And he started writing.

He picked up a blue and yellow highlighter and wrote: To Mr Yeeun (reporter’s name), followed by Psychic November 10, then signed his name in Chinese. And with the green highlighter, he wrote over the blue letterings the word “happy!”, followed by the date of interview. He even drew a sun to complete the cute message.

Throughout the interview, the friendly Ko Soo addressed me as Mr Yeeun and the message was also addressed to M Yeeun. Nobody has ever done that. This is the first time I have a message addressed personally to “Mr Yeeun”. Everyone who was present looked at the message and said, “It’s so Ko Soo!”.

Though my encounter with Ko Soo was a short one which did not last more than an hour, but I could feel his warmth, just like the sun that he drew.

Ko Soo : "My Ideal Woman"

This is Ko Soo interview with isplus.joinmsn, translated by ELSIE as usual and caps by Petra. Today for sure we are all Ko Soo female 'dying' fans will be excited with the title of the interview. What kind of woman is Ko Soo ideal woman, please enjoy reading !

Ko Soo (32) returns to the big screen in Director Kim Min Suk’s PSYCHIC. This time he is still playing a good-guy role as Gyu-nam, a man who is contented and happy with life. However, he becomes angry when someone dear to him succumbs to the supernatural powers of the psychic (Kang Dong Won).

After his role as a man who sacrifices himself for the woman he loves in WISFC, he reprises the good-natured Cha Kang Jin role in PSYCHIC. “My ideal woman should be someone who can show me the way and age does not matter”, said the good-natured Ko Soo with a bright smile.

Q: You have always taken on the role of a good guy…

KS: It’s just so pathetic, but it’s a coincidence. Gyu-nam is not all good. There is anger in him too.

Q: But usually a good-natured character, right?

KS: It’s not so. I do have many faces. However fans only remember the good-guy image. Actually I’m a bit lost too in terms of acting and my sense of values.

Q: How’s Kang Dong Won as an actor?

KS: I think Kang Dong Won is a really smart guy. He is a friend who knows what to do on and off camera. Though he is younger than me in age, he has a lot more cinematic experience. He is also a deep thinker.

Q: Is there a sense of rivalry?

KS: We are more concerned with how best to express our respective characters.

Q: As you have already done your military service, it’s time to think about marriage.

KS: I have not thought about marriage. I guess I will do it when the time comes. You never know… (laughs).

Q: What’s your ideal woman?

KS: I’d like someone who can show me the way, believes in me, standby me when I’m in trouble. Someone whom I can rely on, regardless of age.

Q: Are you aware that there was a buzz in the Internet some time ago that you had committed suicide?

KS: Yes, I know about it. It was right after the airing of WISFC. I was on my way to Jeju Island for a holiday when my manager called to check on me. It was really absurd. I am not that kind of person. I live life ardently (laughs).

Q: Finally, what have you been up to lately?

KS: I’m now busy with publicity for PSYCHIC and shooting my next movie GOJIJEON. I am very happy to have so much support from fans after my discharge from the army. Please continue to give me your support! Thank you.

-------------
There is a new translation from ELSIE, but since the topic is quite similar, I didn't post it separately, so I just put it in the same title. Enjoy Ko Soo's interview with news.sprtsee !

Ko Soo: Love? Maybe I’ll think about it if I could do 100 movies a year…

When asked about his love life, Ko Soo laughed and replied that he will consider dating only if he could do 100 movies a year. He lives each day doing a movie with a feeling of love. There’s a lot to learn and he wants to do more films. His ideal woman? “She has to be a sensible and wise woman”, says Ko Soo.

People around him always say he is nice and well mannered. He calmly takes on awkward questions and does not hurt other’s feelings. This is the real Ko Soo.

As for marriage, Ko Soo says he lives everyday with a feeling of love. And he will only think about marriage if he could do 100 movies a year. He still has a great many things to do. Right now, he feels he is a newbie of 20 with lots to learn, so he will not consider marriage at the moment.

What does he think about girl groups then? “They are amazing”, replied Ko Soo. “These days, the songs and dance are incredible. They are like sisters to me”.

The casting of Kang Dong Won and Ko Soo has raised the ante for PYSCHIC. Is there a rivalry between the two handsome actors? “Not at all”, replied Ko Soo. To him, Dong Won is a good friend. He often eats and drinks with Dong Won on the set. “Dong Won is smart and athletic”. What do they normally talk about? “Mostly “guys things” like games or ‘I bought something today’, ‘Is that so?’ – stuff like that”.

Throughout the interview, Ko Soo uses the words “just started” frequently. The second phase of his life started right after his military service. It is a fresh start for him. Ko Soo’s eyes were wide and deep as he talked and he was able to keep the conversion fresh. He has become more positive now. Military service has thought him to understand the importance of working (acting). Now he is able to go over scripts with surprising speed. He has been lucky to have chosen some interesting work and they are in succession one after another.

As for his future plans, “I do not want to become an actor who is soon forgotten. I want to keep acting. I don’t want to become lazy. I must keep my mind alive”. Most importantly, he wants to gain more experience. His priority now is for PSYCHIC to do well.

Ko Soo in "Headlines" still continues

From ffn.co.kr , translated in English by ELSIE

A colourless Ko Soo? This time, white!

People have their own individual personalities and unique colours. Actors are no exception. Actors who are capable of making audiences laugh or cry on screen have their own distinctive colours which are remembered by fans for a long time.

Most people are of the opinion that actor Ko Soo is colourless. Ko Soo himself thinks so too. However, the ordinary-looking Ko Soo is able to transform himself into an attractive actor who can emit many different colours, depending on the various characters he plays.

“Honestly, the title of the movie may seem a bit strong and direct, but PSYCHIC is in fact an inspiring movie. It is entertaining, moving and is a movie that anyone can enjoy. It is not a heavy movie as the title suggests”, said Ko Soo.

A sudden scenario comes to mind. What if Kang Dong Won switches role with Ko Soo? After all, as Ko Soo’s name suggests, he is more suited for the psychic role. Ko Soo laughed and answered with shiny eyes, “Even if the part fits and the roles are reversed, it is likely that I would be able to do it”.

“The shooting was great. Though Kang Dong Won is younger than me, he is matured and exudes a solid colour in front of the camera. After filming, we would have a beer and chat. We work well together. Kang Dong Won would have tackled the role of Gyu-nam easily and I could be a good psychic”, laughed Ko Soo.

There are only two months left before the end of 2010. Ko Soo’s greatest wish is to watch the sunrise from a mountain.

“I’d like to climb a mountain and watch the sunrise from the mountain. I really like the sunrise. Isn’t every ‘beginning’ significant? My dream is to become an actor who can heal and inspire, just like the sun which always shines brightly on this treacherous world”.

From asiatoday, translated by ELSIE

Psychic’ Ko Soo sustains injury, shows fighting spirit by initiating own stunt

Ko Soo’s only desire is to play the character of Gyu-nam to perfection.

Gyu-nam lives a happy life until he sees his loved ones being endangered by the psychic (Kang Don Won). A confrontation is thus inevitable.

The anticipated showdown between Gyu-nam and the psychic goes beyond a typical scene. Ko Soo was present at the subway station where the scene was shot. 100 extras were mobilised to battle Ko Soo. In the scene, Ko Soo had to shake off 100 people single-handedly. A lot of physical strength was needed and it was exhausting.

Though he has a fear of heights, Ko Soo staged a thrilling aerial action scene. He ignored the use of wires and ran between the pillars in quick successive movement. He was injured while filming this scene.
----------

And here's Ko Soo latest MV for Psychic, watching at this MV, I believe Ko Soo will not be "A Sweetheart" Ko Soo anymore. In the future is not only girls who will watch his acting, even men will love his acting. Ko Soo puts himself as 'a tough' actor, with all the 'stunt' himself doing, Ko Soo proves himself more than a manly look. Just put for example, Andy Lau, no matter how good looking he is, men will not really watch Andy's action movie, because he always uses  stuntmen for his action stuff. But look how men will line up to watch Jet Li, or Jacky Chen movies, cause they know both actors do their own stunt. They got injured, but that's the way they get their own trade mark. And it seems that's what will happen with our Ko Soo.

Ko Soo And Ha Ji Won

Although the title is very tempting, Ko Soo and Ha Ji Wan but first of all I want to post Ko Soo latest greeting in daum.net. He looks so cool with his short hair, somehow his eye brows looks thicker than before, perhaps this is the look that the stylist prepare for his role in Gojiejon.

Translation as usual, by ELSIE and caps by Petra.

Hello, I’m Ko Soo and I take on the role of Gyu-nam in PSYCHIC.

I’m really thankful that you have joined the PSYCHIC café. Please participate actively in the forum and chat about the extraordinary story of our movie.

I will meet you on screen with PSYCHIC on November 11th.

Thank you very much!

At the same time there is a latest news of Ha Ji Won in newsen, she was asked about how she feels with Ko Soo statement that she is his type. Ha Ji Won answered : " I feel good, thank you very much"

I wonder how Ko Soo burst out that Ha Ji Won is his type. First perhaps, in my humble opinion, because he is tired with the same question every time he makes the interview. So he just picked Han Ji Won's name in rumble since he's never even had drink together with her. Or second possibilities because Han Ji Won is really his type (ha..ha..), and I wonder why.

Ha Ji Won who looks so young at her thirties, is very eloquent girl, acts so well and she is really serious when she's doing her job. Ha Ji Won puts her acting ability on top of her looks. Her charm is her professionalism in her work, the fact that she is beautiful is the bonus. That's why even Jang Geun Seok confessed that he has crushed on her during filming Hwang Jin Yi.

Those are perhaps all the best parts of Ha Ji Won that 'our' Ko Soo likes. He always says that he likes a mature girl, calm , but I am sure he likes someone eloquent too since he has trouble when it comes to talk in public (He said recently that doing film is fun but interview is a little bit hard). People usually like something they don't have in themselves. And it seems that  Ko Soo's lack will be completed by Ha Ji Won. (ha..ha..this is of course fans wild perception)

News travel fast but fans' wild imagination travel further , just like this :

Ko Soo in Gojijeon

Today I post some facts of Ko Soo that I cap from ELSIE's translation. The fact is around Ko Soo during filming his latest movie : Gojijeon. This film is another hard work for him. Sometime he tries too hard that some fans are getting worried about him. Just like when he was filming Psychic along Kang Dong Won, Ko Soo injured his eyes, the little scar is still vivid even when he attended Sony's function last week.
Ko Soo somehow likes to take a hard action movie/ drama. He did all the action scene sin "SOME" without stuntman. We understand how he feels, and how he wants to give the best performance for every character he acts. But still he needs to think more about his own safety . We just hope everything going smoothly during the filming of Gojijeon.

Here are some latest update of  Ko Soo and Gojiejon :

Someone wrote a heart warming story about a friend of her brother’s encounter with Ko Soo.  Both her brother and friend are actors.  The friend is a supporting actor in GOJIJEON.  There is a scene in which the friend is to hit Ko Soo in the face (oh no!  Our poor Ko Soo!)  The friend, who is just a small actor, is a bit apprehensive because he has to hit a top star’s cheek.  It would be unbearable.  So he practised hard at the motel where he was staying. However, instead of preparing for self-protection, Ko Soo approached him to discuss how best to do the scene.  Ko Soo told him laughingly to “please hit fast. Please hit hard”.  The friend says that Ko Soo is a humble and well mannered person who is also very enthusiastic about his work.  He could feel that Ko Soo has a kind heart who is considerate about the people around him.  The friend’s prejudice against top stars disappeared after his encounter with Ko Soo.  Appears that during location filming, the stars stay in a hotel while the supporting actors stay at lodgings like a motel.
                                                                 -----------

On Sunday, 3rd October, singer/actor Kim Tae Woo posted a picture of himself with Ko Soo titled “My nice elder brother Ko Soo” in his Myspace homepage.

He wrote, “My dear brother Ko Soo, we have not met for a long time! And the place which we meet again after a long time is the training camp… I was quite busy, so it wasn’t possible for us to meet. But anyway, good to see you again! The movie which my elder brother Ko Soo stars in will open in November. With much anticipation and love! My elder brother, I will certainly go see the movie. ^^"

The sentences certainly show a deep friendship. Responses from fans who saw the post were, “Both are so cool!”, “Two privileged celebrities with army background are really nice”, “The dignity of the army reservists…” etc.

Stunts men injured during filming of GOJIJEON

While filming an explosion scene for GOJIJEON, two stunts men suffered serious injuries. Both in their 20s, the stunts men were hit by bomb fragments. One suffered serious face injuries while the other was injured in the spleen. Ko Soo, Shin Ha-kyun and the cast and crew who were on the scene at that time witnessed the accident. They were in a state of shock and shooting was suspended.

The production company for GOJIJEON are doing their utmost to compensate the victims. Precautionary measures and safety inspection will be carried out for future filming.

Korean balladeer Kim Tae-woo has posted a photograph of himself and actor Ko Soo on his official Cyworld webpage.

Last week, the 29-year-old singer had uploaded a picture of himself with his arm around Ko Soo taken during their reserve forces training titled "Cool Ko Soo!!"

He wrote a comment below the latest photo saying, "It has been a while since I met Ko Soo!! I can't believe that the place we see each other is the military training camp...It's great to see him here though since we've both been busy."

Kim added that he will be watching Ko’s movie and that other fans should look forward to the film which will open in theaters in November.

Fans who have seen the photo have left responses saying, "Ko Soo in his military uniform looks like a model" and "The both of you look so handsome."

Kim made his debut in 1999 in the now-disbanded boy band group GOD and has pursued a solo career since. He saw a successful year in 2009 with his single "Love Rain."

Ko appeared in the music video "Letter" by singer Position in 1998 and has since starred in numerous dramas and films. His move notable appearances are in drama "Piano" and "Will it Snow for Christmas?" and movies "Some" and "White Night."

He will be starring in the upcoming action thriller tentatively titled "Psychic" with actor Gang Dong-won.

The Hard Working Goo Soo

The day before the press conference for this serial, Go Su was shooting the fire scene for 11 hours, from morning till night! He quickly drove to the venue but he was still late for half an hour. He kept coughing and later his loud voice suddenly soft and suddenly he lost his voice. His throat became sore but he insisted of staying till the end. His manager rushed him to hospital.

What happened? He inhaled too much toxic particles which affected his throat. He had to be put on drip. But he returned to the studio after an hour. His professionalism won praise from all. He had emphasized that he had been given kind and honest roles from the start of his career. That was why they didn't leave a deep impression. So there wasn't much to look for in this serial in his acting. But many could see the multifacets of Zheng Xian(Go Soos' character in Green Rose in Chinese). He becomes to normal working employee to a fugitive, from a pauper to a CEO. How can there not be a change at all? He was just being modest.

The green rose refers to eternal love in heaven. But it also exists in human's perfect hope and expectations. It isn't a real flower. This fits Go Su's low profile and some of his fans have said that they can't resist his charm. Because of him, they can even try to get a flower which doesn't exist on earth. Upon knowing that he was shooting "The Green Rose", a girl suffering from leukemia asked her mother to give one green rose to Go Su. But he was still in China shooting this drama then and she didn't have the chance to pass it to him. Upon knowing the news, Go So sobbed and prayed hard for her recovery. So sorry that I didn't have news about her but I hope she is better now.

This serial is using revenge as the base but it also emphasizes on love. The sudden separation, the trap set to gain the love yearned, the difficult circumstances to make the leads hang on is love! This serial tells us the great love can make one overcome the tragic fate, to make a woman know how a man uses his life to protect a woman. To make Zheng Xian's life difficult, SBS threw money to invest to shoot scenes in Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou. How can all miss the beautiful scenes in all these places?

The scene where Zheng Xian ate in the restaurant and rn away without paying to get caught was a classic. Why? the police authorities did not notice the cameras nearby clicking and they arrested Go Soo! The crowd was oblivious to it and thought they were still shooting.

Poor Go Soo - he did not know how to explain in Mandarin. Luckily, his interpreter came on time to explain to the authorities or he would be taken to the police station.

After the failures of "SOME" and "When a man falls in love" Go Su's popularity dipped drastically. But he didn't give up and this time, he gave a new image. At his lowest point, he bravely took up this challenge to challenge his acting skills. Poor chap to endure the cold to jump into the cold sea and also the long walks/hours of shooting. Go Su also spent time to memorize his Chinese lines so that is why we can hear his clear dictation (although not entirely accurate) throughout the serial.

Da Hae got her newcomer award in 2004 and thus her pairing with Go Soo gave all a refreshing feel. She is only 21 but do you notice that she was always given mature roles? Thus the average rating for this serial was 18.6%, which was considered quite okay.

Go Soo attained the performance award for special project and also got one of the top 10 stars awards in SBS 2005 drama awards. Da Hae got the performance award for drama special. Thumbs up for their hard work.

Ko Soo Charm

Who doesn't love Ko Soo ? Female fans are not the only one who has 'unrequited' love for Ko Soo. Even the female celebrity think of Go Soo as an ideal man. Here is the confession of Son Dambi,a famous South Korean female singer in "Happy Together"

Son Dambi reveals that her ideal man is Ko Soo
by sayykimchi on July 23, 2010 at 1:11 am

Son Dambi’s recent confession about her ideal is garnering hot attention.

Through this week’s Happy Together, Son Dambi revealed. “My ideal is Ko Soo.” At first when she was asked about her ideal man, Son Dambi was hesitant.

It wasn’t till MC Park Mi Sun shared that her ideal was Ko Soo that eventually led Son Danbi to chime in that he was her ideal as well.

After Son Dambi agreed that Ko Soo was her ideal, Park Mi Sun made everyone laugh by sadly expressing, “I lost.”

I’m sure many men would be jealous of this actor.

Analysis of Ko Soo

The possibility of a good personality can make a person popular?

A person can become a star from just one drama. There was someone who believed himself to be a big star and behaved haughtily in an advertisement film studio. Now he no longer represents the brand and only appears on television intermittently.

There was also a Mr B who was an unknown when he went abroad to shoot an advertisement with a French director. He was affable to the staff. He is now a lead actor after only 2 years, has good ratings for his drama and is also a CF model for many brands.

Therefore, human relationship is one of the important conditions to success in drama and advertisement production work. If a model has bad manners in a film studio, his contract will be cancelled when renewal time comes.

The single Ko Soo who shines with knighthood spirit

..... let me introduce you to the single and friendly charmer Ko Soo.

Ko Soo (32) recently filmed a Hana Bank advertisement. His last aired drama was “Will It Snow For Christmas” which he starred as someone who is indifferent but secretly cares for the female lead, a character which captivated many female fans. I met him at the advertisement film studio and on the set when he was doing the drama. Although quiet, he constantly cares about the people around him.

Last winter, as everyone will remember, was extremely cold. The Hana Bank advertisement was shot in the early morning hours in the open. There was barely any heat in the dressing room which was near the front entrance of the building.

Ko Soo was given a small electric stove as he was the model and if he were to be frozen, it would not be possible to give a good performance. However, Ko Soo gave up the precious little stove to a female staff member.

He was so cold that he trembled but he made do with only his collar which he adjusted and rested against. The staff including the writer were all impressed by his sacrifice and knighthood spirit.

His unique personality showed during a fan festival hosted by the advertiser sponsor. After staying up all night to finish drama shooting, he took off just in time for his next appointment. The sight of him running in a hurry and saying, “Oh dear! Shooting will be delayed if I do not arrive on time”, showed his tiredness and anxiety.

For 2 days and 2 nights, he kept his schedule free until the commemoration shoot finished. This shows his sincerity, unlike other “A” class models who would not hesitate to take leave.

Ko Soo was shooting a Hana Bank advertisement where he had to break through a needle-like hole through a narrow wall dressed in a business suit. A senior who passed by greeted Ko Soo. He does not get distracted under any circumstances and he very gamely portray each character that is required of him.

Hence, the phrase “A good personality can make a person popular” is not incorrect in the advertising industry. The background where these people are loved for a long time by fans rightly points to personality. Korean actors are urged to keep this in mind.
